Situated in the picturesque village of Gilling East on the edge of the North York Moors national park, Fairfax View offers the perfect base to explore this beautiful corner of Yorkshire.
Ampleforth Abbey and College are on the doorstep, and the historic city of York is 19 miles away, and Helmsley (crowned Britain's Best Market Town in 2015) is just a 10 minute drive.
THE COTTAGE
The cottage boasts one double bedroom with en suite shower room, a well equipped
kitchen and a large lounge with sofa bed.
The patio provides an excellent place
to relax when the weather is good.
FACILITIES
Little essentials
We provide tea, coffee and fresh milk, so as soon as you arrive you can put the kettle on and relax! For longer stays of a week or more we also provide a welcome hamper.
Patio
The cottage has a small patio area equipped with a table and chairs so you can relax and dine outside in good weather.
Breakfast
The cottage is let on a self catering basis, however The Fairfax Arms is just across the road and serves an excellent breakfast.
